క్‍వచిదల్పం క్‍వచిద్భ‍ూరి భుఞ్జేఽన్నం స్వాద్వస్వాదు వా । క్‍వచిద్భ‍ూరి గుణోపేతం గుణహీనముత క్వ‍చిత్ । శ్రద్ధయోపహృతం క్వ‍ాపి కదాచిన్మానవర్జితమ్ । భుఞ్జే భుక్త్వాథ కస్మింశ్చిద్దివా నక్తం యద‍ృచ్ఛయా ॥ ౩౮ ॥
kvacid alpaṁ kvacid bhūri

Translation
Sometimes I eat a small quantity and sometimes a great quantity of food. Sometimes the food is very palatable, and sometimes it is stale. Sometimes it has good qualities and sometimes it does not. Sometimes it is brought with respect, and at other times without respect. I eat it somewhere, during the day or the night, whenever it comes.
