నభో గతో దిశ: సర్వా: సహస్రాక్షో విశామ్పతే ।
ప్రాగుదీచీం దిశం తూర్ణం ప్రవిష్టో నృప మానసమ్ ॥ ౧౪ ॥

O King, Indra first fled to the sky, but there also he saw the woman of personified sin chasing him. This witch followed him wherever he went. At last he very quickly went to the northeast and entered the Mānasa-sarovara Lake.

Translation
O King! Indra first fled to the sky, then to all directions. At last he went to the northeast and quickly entered the Mānasa Sarovara.
First he went into the sky. Seeing her chasing him, he went in all direction, but she followed. Then he went in the northeast direction and quickly entered Mānasa Sarovara.
