  • dāśārhaḥ — Baladeva, descendant of Daśārha
From Daśārha — an ancestor of the Yadu dynasty. Balarāma is addressed by clan-name to mark His position as the elder of the Yadu family. Gauḍīyas note: even in revealing supreme insight, the Bhāgavata anchors Him in lineage.
  • cakṣuṣā vayunena — with the eye of transcendental knowledge
Compound: cakṣus (eye) + vayuna (right knowledge, discrimination). Vayuna is a Vedic word for clear insight. Gauḍīyas read cakṣuṣā vayunena as the prototype of divya-cakṣus — the divine eye, the same eye Arjuna receives at BG 11.8.
  • vaikuṇṭham — as Vaikuṇṭha (Kṛṣṇa Himself)
Vaikuṇṭha — 'unobstructed' (from vi + kuṇṭha, restraint). The eternal spiritual realm and a name of its Lord. Gauḍīyas note: the calves and boys are not just 'Kṛṣṇa-like' — Baladeva sees them as Vaikuṇṭha itself, the Lord-and-His-realm.
  • sa-vayasān — along with His age-mates
Compound: sa (with) + vayas (age-group). The same vayasya-language of verse 5 — the boys are Kṛṣṇa's age-mates. Now they are also revealed as His expansions. Sakhya-rasa coexists with ontological identity.
  • ācaṣṭa — He saw, He recognized
Aorist of ā-√cakṣ (to see clearly, to declare). The verbal climax of the recognition. Gauḍīyas read ā-cakṣ as more than ordinary seeing — it is the seeing-through-and-declaring of one who has comprehended.
Thinking in this way, Lord Balarāma was able to see, with the eye of transcendental knowledge, that all these calves and Kṛṣṇa’s friends were expansions of the form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

Every individual is different. There are even differences between twin brothers. Yet when Kṛṣṇa expanded Himself as the boys and calves, each boy and each calf appeared in its own original feature, with the same individual way of acting, the same tendencies, the same color, the same dress, and so on, for Kṛṣṇa manifested Himself with all these differences. This was Kṛṣṇa’s opulence.

Translation
Thinking in this way, Lord Balarāma was able to see, with the eye of transcendental knowledge, that all these calves and Kṛṣṇa's friends were expansions of the form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
Commentary

"Well, having concluded in this way, let me test it by looking with my eye of knowledge (vayunena caksusa)." By Krsna’s will the fourth portion of maya departed, and he was able to see the form of Krsna in each of the boys and calves.

Jīva Gosvāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

The ending on savayasān is poetic license. Vaikuṇṭham means a form completely devoid of limitation. By inquisitive knowledge (vayunena) he saw all the calves and boys to be unlimited Kṛṣṇa. His knowledge was the filled with special prema. Dāśārhaḥ means that he was born in the Yadu family as the brother of Kṛṣṇa.

Like an astronomer with a fine instrument turning his eye from the moon to its source — Balarāma's cakṣur-jñāna sees through the cowherd disguise to the Vaikuṇṭha-substance. The same vision Brahmā will be given later, Balarāma takes on His own initiative, because His relation permits it.
