  • sandhyā-upagama — performance of the morning sandhyā worship
The thrice-daily sandhyā (dawn, noon, dusk) is the brāhmaṇa's spinal practice. Bhagavān doing it Himself dignifies the rite as worship-of-Himself-by-Himself.
  • huta-analaḥ — having offered into the sacred fire
Fire-yajña is the Vedic householder's central act. Yet the BG (4.24, 9.16) reveals that all such offerings ultimately reach Kṛṣṇa, who is both yajña and yajña-bhuk. Here He performs the yajña He Himself receives.
  • brahma — the Vedic mantra (Gāyatrī)
Gāyatrī is called brahma because it is the mantra-mūla of the Vedas. That Bhagavān chants it 'silently' (jajāpa vāk-yataḥ) shows japa, not external recitation, as the gold standard — and the source-text for the whole Gauḍīya nāma-japa tradition.
  • vāk-yataḥ — controlling speech
Silence (mauna) during japa is the discipline Kṛṣṇa Himself models. Speech leaked outward dissipates the mantra; speech gathered inward feeds it. The whole rāgānuga-japa method rests on this.
That most saintly of personalities would then bathe in sanctified water, dress Himself in lower and upper garments and perform the entire sequence of prescribed rituals, beginning with worship at dawn. After offering oblations into the sacred fire, Lord Kṛṣṇa would silently chant the Gāyatrī mantra.

Śrīdhara Svāmī points out that since Lord Kṛṣṇa was in the disciplic succession from Kaṇva Muni, He offered oblations to the fire before sunrise. Then He chanted the Gāyatrī mantra.

Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
That most saintly of personalities would then bathe in sanctified water, dress Himself in lower and upper garments and perform the entire sequence of prescribed rituals, beginning with worship at dawn. After offering oblations into the sacred fire, Lord Kṛṣṇa would silently chant the Gāyatrī mantra.
Commentary

Krsna excecuted all of his duties (kriya kalapam cakara). Being most expert (sattama) he performed the sandhya rites, and chanted the gayatri (brahma) silently.

Jīva Gosvāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

He would bath in tīrtha water since that is prescribed for the early morning bath. With great care he would go outside the city. He was the best of the saintly in order to show proper dharma (sattamaḥ). Or, he was most expert in the activities of dharma like sandhya rites.

Mantra

Bhagavān bathing, dressing in cloth, and chanting Gāyatrī is the original of every brāhmaṇa's daily ritual — like the king who works the same plough as His farmers, not because He must, but because He wishes the plough to be honoured.

Caitanya Mahāprabhu's morning bath

In Caitanya-caritāmṛta (Antya-līlā), Mahāprabhu at Jagannātha Purī rises in brāhma-muhūrta, bathes in the sea, performs ācamana, and only then begins the day. The Gosvāmīs at Vṛndāvana followed the same crama.

This verse is the source: even Kṛṣṇa Himself bathed and chanted Gāyatrī. The whole Gauḍīya gṛhastha-āśrama is His footprint.
