Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.58.41
Blended reading (Sanskrit + English inline)
-
abhyadhikaḥ
—
superior
From abhi + adhika — greater than. There is no one greater than Kṛṣṇa as son-in-law. Gauḍīya: the comparison is closed by definition; svayaṁ-bhagavān admits no superior.
-
guṇa - eka - dhāmnaḥ
—
the exclusive abode of all transcendental qualities
Compound guṇa (quality) + eka (sole) + dhāman (abode). All auspicious qualities reside in one place — in Kṛṣṇa. Gauḍīya: the doctrine of bhagavat-tattva — Bhagavān is the locus of all ṣaḍ-aiśvarya (six opulences).
-
anapāyinī
—
never leaving
From an (not) + apa + √i — non-departing. Śrī (Lakṣmī) never leaves Kṛṣṇa's chest. Gauḍīya: the wife in the marriage will be one in a household where Lakṣmī herself permanently dwells. The princess gains a sister in Lakṣmī, not a rival.
Though Lakṣmī is the shelter of all qualities, you are the abode of good qualities (guṇaika-dhāmnaḥ). Since she is controlled by your qualities, she has all qualities.
O Lord whom all people request to attain. One should desire to attain you. Who else is there, with qualities greater than yours? There is no one. His form is described as the reason for attaining him. Lakṣmī, always very steady, resides on the chest of your form (aṅge) since you are the extraordinary abode of all qualities like truth and cleanliness.
When the king of every kingdom asks for one's daughter, the only sane reply is that no other son-in-law could be considered — every comparison collapses. Nagnajit's answer is logic's bow before grace.
