Important Words
-
vidhāsyāmaḥ
—
We will arrange, We will make provision
Future first-person plural of vi + √dhā — to arrange, ordain. Vidhāna is what Bhagavān does — He arranges. Akrūra is to bring the data; the arrangement remains Kṛṣṇa's. Gauḍīyas read every Pāṇḍava rescue (lākṣāgṛha, vana-vāsa, Kurukṣetra) as the unfolding of this single vidhāsyāmaḥ.
-
śam
—
welfare, benefit, peace
An ancient Vedic word for well-being — the same śam that appears in the śānti-mantras (oṁ śam no mitraḥ...). Kṛṣṇa's purpose for His friends is named with the most sacred and concise term available.
-
suhṛdām
—
of (Our) dear friends
Genitive plural of suhṛd — well-wisher, dear friend. The Pāṇḍavas are repeatedly called Kṛṣṇa's suhṛdas. Suhṛd is stronger than mitra: it is a friend whose heart is good toward you without contract, without expectation.
-
sādhu asādhu vā
—
good or evil
Phrase: sādhu (good, proper) + asādhu (bad) + vā (or). The diagnostic binary — Kṛṣṇa instructs Akrūra to learn which it is. The simplicity of the question masks the gravity of what depends on the answer.
Go and see whether Dhṛtarāṣṭra is acting properly or not. When We find out, We will make the necessary arrangements to help Our dear friends.

Translation
Go and see whether Dhṛtarāṣṭra is acting properly or not. When We find out, We will make the necessary arrangements to help Our dear friends.

Commentary
Go now and find out if the kings’ actions are good or bad.

Analogy
The king does not invade; the king sends a trusted observer first and waits for the report. Kṛṣṇa's foreign policy with Hastināpura is conservative — the bhāra-haraṇa of the earth proceeds through patient reconnaissance, not impulsive force.
