శ్రీభగవానువాచ వత్స ప్రహ్లాద భద్రం తే ప్రయాహి సుతలాలయమ్ । మోదమాన: స్వపౌత్రేణ జ్ఞాతీనాం సుఖమావహ ॥ ౯ ॥
śrī-bhagavān uvāca
[shree-bhagavaan uvaacha]
vatsa prahrāda bhadraṁ te
[vatsa prahraada bhadram te]
prayāhi sutalālayam
[prayaahi sutalaalayam]
modamānaḥ sva-pautreṇa
[modamaanah sva-pautrena]
jṣātīnāṁ sukham āvaha
[jshaateenaam sukham aavaha]

śrī-bhagavān uvāca — the Personality of Godhead said vatsa — O My dear son prahrāda — O Prahlāda Mahārāja bhadram te — all auspiciousness unto you prayāhi — please go sutala-ālayam — to the place known as Sutala modamānaḥ — in a spirit of jubilation sva-pautreṇa — with your grandson (Bali Mahārāja) jṣātīnām — of your relatives and friends sukham — happiness āvaha — just enjoy.
