బహ్వృచా: సంహితా హ్యేతా ఏభిర్బ్రహ్మర్షిభిర్ధృతా: ।
శ్రుత్వైతచ్ఛన్దసాం వ్యాసం సర్వపాపై: ప్రముచ్యతే ॥ ౬౦ ॥
bahvṛcāḥ saṁhitā hy etā
[bahvrichaah samhitaa hy etaa]
ebhir brahmarṣibhir dhṛtāḥ

śrutvaitac-chandasāṁ vyāsaṁ

Translation
Thus these various saṁhitās of the Ṛg Veda were maintained through disciplic succession by these saintly brāhmaṇas. Simply by hearing of the division of the Vedic hymns, one will be freed from all sins.
