My Lord, You have reestablished the principles of religion among pious men who are always firmly bound to the truth. You have also distributed Your glories all over the world, and thus the whole world can be purified by hearing about You.

Gauḍīya
Translation
You have reestablished the principles of religion among pious men who are always firmly bound to the truth. Everywhere you have also distributed your glories which destroy the sins of all worlds.
Vikṣiptā means distributed.
Personal Guidance
Kṛṣṇa reestablishes dharma among the truthful and spreads His glories worldwide — our share is to live truthfully and pass on what purifies.
Practical Applications
- Speak one difficult truth today that you have been softening to keep social peace, and notice what stabilizes when you do.
- Choose one of Kṛṣṇa's names, qualities, or activities and tell it to at least one person in your day — let your speech carry kīrti, not just opinion.
- Audit one area where your private conduct does not match your stated principles, and bring it back into alignment before the day ends.
Reflection Questions
- Where in my life have I quietly accepted compromise with untruth because being satya-sandha — bound to the truth — felt too costly?
- If my speech today were measured, how much of it spread Kṛṣṇa's glories versus my own preferences, grievances, or self-image?
For Each Age Group
youth
- In your friend group or class chat today, refuse one comfortable exaggeration or piled-on rumor — practice being satya-sandha before the stakes are large.
- Replace one piece of content you would normally share on social media with something about Kṛṣṇa — a verse, a name, a quality — and watch your own reaction to doing it.
- Identify one person around you who is visibly truthful even when it costs them, and deliberately spend more time with them this week.
householder
- In one family or work decision this week, choose the option that is truthful over the one that is merely convenient, and explain the reasoning aloud to your spouse or children.
- Establish one small daily moment in the home — a verse read, a name chanted, a story told at dinner — where Kṛṣṇa's glories are actually distributed under your roof.
- Examine one place where your professional speech (marketing, negotiation, reporting) drifts from truth, and bring it back into honest range even at some material cost.
senior
- Tell a grandchild, junior colleague, or younger devotee one specific way you have seen Kṛṣṇa establish dharma in your life — let your testimony become part of His kīrti.
- Review long-standing relationships and quietly repair one place where you have lived with an unspoken untruth, while you still have time to set it right.
- Choose one practice — reading, chanting, or hearing about Kṛṣṇa — that will outlast your working life, and commit to it now as your daily contribution to what purifies the world.
Common Pitfalls
- Treating "reestablishing dharma" as a political or cultural project of our own rather than recognizing Kṛṣṇa as the establisher and ourselves as instruments.
- Reducing "distributing His glories" to performance or self-promotion, so that kīrtana becomes a stage for the speaker instead of purification for the hearer.
- Identifying as one of the satsu — the pious truthful — while still negotiating privately with falsehood in money, relationships, or speech.
Discussion Prompts
- Share a recent moment when telling the truth would have cost you something real — what did you actually do, and what does this verse say to that choice?
- What does it mean, practically, that the world is purified by hearing about Kṛṣṇa — and where does that put our responsibility for what we broadcast and consume?
- Who are the satsu in your life — the truth-bound people Kṛṣṇa works through — and what are you doing to stay in their company rather than drift from it?
Role Play
Two students work in the same office. One has been asked by their manager to lightly misrepresent a project's status to a client; the other overhears and is asked privately for advice. Play out the conversation between them, using this verse as the anchor — what does it mean to stand among the satya-sandha here, and how is Kṛṣṇa's kīrti served or harmed by the choice?
Objections & Responses
- Dharma is culturally constructed — claiming Kṛṣṇa "reestablished" it sounds like religious triumphalism dressed up as theology.
The verse is not a sociological claim about institutions but a confession about a Person — that the source of ordered, truth-bound life is Kṛṣṇa Himself. We are not arguing that one culture wins; we are saying that wherever truth-bound persons stand firm, He is acting through them, and the test is not power but purification. - If hearing about Kṛṣṇa purifies the whole world, why is the world still so clearly unpurified?
The verse says the world can be purified by hearing about Him — the medicine exists and has been distributed; whether each person takes it is another matter. Our work is not to explain the world's resistance but to be among those who actually hear, retain, and pass on what we have received.
