Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 11.30.21

తా వజ్రకల్పా హ్యభవన్ పరిఘా ముష్టినా భృతా: । జఘ్నుర్ద్విషస్తై: కృష్ణేన వార్యమాణాస్తు తం చ తే ॥ ౨౧ ॥

tā vajra-kalpā hy abhavan

[taa vajra-kalpaa hy abhavan]

parighā muṣṭinā bhṛtāḥ

[parighaa mushtinaa bhritaah]

jaghnur dviṣas taiḥ kṛṣṇena

[jaghnur dvishas taih krishnena]

vāryamāṇās tu taṁ ca te

[vaaryamaanaas tu tam cha te]

As soon as they took these cane stalks in their fists, the stalks changed into iron rods as hard as thunderbolts. With these weapons the warriors began attacking one another again and again, and when Lord Kṛṣṇa tried to stop them they attacked Him as well.

Translation

As soon as they took these cane stalks in their fists, the stalks changed into iron rods as hard as thunderbolts. With these club-like weapons the warriors began attacking one another, and when Kṛṣṇa tried to stop them they attacked him as well. Holding the reeds which became like iron clubs they attacked each other and attacked Kṛṣṇa.
