A wise person, knowing that although the material body is subject to death it can still award the perfection of one’s life, should not foolishly neglect to take advantage of this opportunity before death arrives.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
A wise person, knowing that the human body, though temporary, allows attainment of perfection, should act for freedom from saṁsāra before death. Knowing the use of the human body, he should not be lazy. Knowing the human body is useful, one should act for attaining freedom from saṁṣara before death. Knowing that his body gives perfection, he should not be lazy.
