పురోధసాం వసిష్ఠోఽహం బ్రహ్మిష్ఠానాం బృహస్పతి: ।
స్కన్దోఽహం సర్వసేనాన్యామగ్రణ్యాం భగవానజ: ॥ ౨౨ ॥
purodhasāṁ vasiṣṭho ’haṁ

Translation
Among priests, I am Vasiṣṭha Muni, and among those skilful in the Vedas, I am Bṛhaspati. I am Kārtikeya among military leaders, and among those who are outstanding, I am the great personality Brahmā.
Among those knowing the Vedas, I am Bṛhaspati. Among leaders of troops, I am Skanda. Among the best, I am Brahmā (ajaḥ).
