  • eka-ātma-bhavena — with single-minded devotion
Compound: eka (one) + ātma (self) + bhāva (mood). 'Single-self-mood' — the mind one-pointed in bhāva. Gauḍīyas: bhāva is the eighth stage in bhakti-development (CC Madhya 23.13); when it is eka-ātma, it borders on prema.
  • sat-gatim — the ultimate transcendental destination
Compound: sat (true, transcendental) + gati (movement, destination). Gauḍīyas: not mere liberation but the eternal service-station in Vraja or Goloka. Sat-gati = nitya-Kṛṣṇa-sevā in the spiritual realm.
  • ārādhya — by worshiping
Gerund of ā + √rādh — to please. Same root as Rādhā. Both bhaktas 'did Rādhā' to Kṛṣṇa and His sages — they pleased Him utterly. Gauḍīyas: ārādhana is the only verb in bhakti's grammar.
  • dvija-uttamān — most exalted brāhmaṇas
Compound: dvija (twice-born, brāhmaṇa) + uttama (highest). Cf. v. 18's enumeration. The sages who travel with Kṛṣṇa are dvija-uttama — paramahaṁsa-Vaiṣṇavas. The bhaktas worship them, and through them, Bhagavān.
Śrī Śuka said: So instructed by his Lord, with single-minded devotion Śrutadeva worshiped Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the topmost brāhmaṇas accompanying Him, and King Bahulāśva did the same. Thus both Śrutadeva and the King attained the ultimate transcendental destination.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
Śrī Śuka said: So instructed by his Lord, with single-minded devotion Śrutadeva worshiped Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the topmost brāhmaṇas accompanying Him, and King Bahulāśva did the same. Thus both Śrutadeva and the King attained the ultimate transcendental destination.
Commentary

Srutadeva then worshiped Krsna and the sages with undivided attention (ekatma bhavena). Or another meaning is: he worshipped Krsna and the sages with the understanding that they were non different.

Jīva Gosvāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

The Lord also gave the instructions to the king. Following the instructions, they attained the result. The brāhmaṇa and the king, instructed by their own Lord, with great faith in those instructions, worshipped Kṛṣṇa along with the brāhmaṇa sages with great devotion and constant endeavor. They attained the eternal abode of the Lord and sages.

Śrīdhara Svāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

He worshipped as instructed by his Lord (prabhunā). He had faith in that order. He worshipped with concentration the best devotees among the brāhmaṇas (dvijottamān) along with Kṛṣṇa, who manifested unlimited qualities such as affection for the devotees. He attained the abode of the Lord or the sages, or Vaikuṇṭha.

Śrutadeva and Bahulāśva, instructed, both worship the sages with single-minded devotion — and both attain the supreme destination. The chapter began with two visits and ends with one destination. Sama-darśana yields sama-gati.
