  • hari-dāsasya — of the servant of Lord Hari
Compound: hari (Kṛṣṇa) + dāsa (servant). Yudhiṣṭhira's deepest identity. He is not 'emperor'; he is 'servant of Hari.' Gauḍīyas read this as the chapter's nominal — the rest of the titles are decoration around this one.
  • rāja-ṛṣeḥ — of the saintly King
Compound: rāja (king) + ṛṣi (sage). The kṣatriya-ṛṣi — the rare type who unites kingship and inner sight. Bhīṣma, Janaka, Yudhiṣṭhira: this is their class.
  • atṛpyan — they were satiated (with na: never satiated)
Imperfect of √tṛp (to be satisfied), governed by 'na' in the verse. The signature Gauḍīya marker for kṛṣṇa-kathā: nityā-nava (ever-fresh). What satisfies always also produces fresh hunger.
  • piban-martyaḥ-amṛtam — as a mortal drinks immortal nectar
The simile is exact: hari-kathā is to ordinary speech what amṛta is to ordinary drink. Mortals can taste it. Gauḍīyas note: the comparison is not poetic — the Bhāgavatam itself is called amṛta (1.1.3).
As they all glorified the wonderful Rājasūya-yajña performed by that great saintly King and servant of Lord Hari, they were not satiated, just as an ordinary man is never satiated when drinking nectar.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
As they all glorified the wonderful Rājasūya-yajṣa performed by that great saintly King and servant of Lord Hari, they were not satiated, just as an ordinary man is never satiated when drinking nectar.
Jīva Gosvāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

Hari means Kṛṣṇa who removes all faults, and who is attractive with his qualities and form. Yudhiṣṭhira was a servant of Kṛṣṇa, a king and a sage having all knowledge. The rājasūya was endowed with all qualities completely (mahodayam). Everyone praised it but could not be fully satisfied. This means they continually praised it. A human who is subject to death and who continually suffers may get a chance to drink nectar, which gives supreme bliss and takes away all suffering including death. He cannot be fully satisfied. Everyone there was in a similar state.

When you drink the right water, you forget thirst is a category. The departing guests speak of the Rājasūya the way Sukadeva speaks of Vraja — never finished, never repeated identically, never closed. Glorification of bhakti has the structure of amṛta, not of food.
