Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.71.4
Blended reading (Sanskrit + English inline)
-
govinda
—
O Govinda, finder of cows and senses
Uddhava calls Him Govinda — the Vraja-name — even in the political war-room of Dvārakā. The address keeps the cowherd-rasa alive inside the kṣatriya plan.
-
yaśaḥ
—
glory, fame
Kṛṣṇa's yaśas is not vanity but the fragrance by which conditioned souls are drawn to Him. Devotees serve His fame because His fame is itself a saving instrument — śravaṇa-yogya kīrti.
-
vimuñcataḥ
—
of the one releasing
The genitive participle — 'of Him who releases.' Liberation in Gauḍīya thought is not merger but release from bondage so that loving service can proceed; Kṛṣṇa here literally unchains the kings as a figure of what He does inwardly for every surrendered jīva.
There is great gain for us in the assembly by going for the rajasuya sacrifice (etena), since we also kill Jarasandha.
Not only will this be beneficial for the kings and the Pāṇḍavas, but for us as well. By defeating him we will gain, since our powerful enemy will have died. Freeing the kings, you will gain fame. That is also our gain. Looking at the Yādavas, he made them favor his suggestion. Bandhāt is sometimes seen instead of baddhān. This is proper for you who have appeared on earth (govinda) to reveal yourself as Bhagavān.

Freeing the kings, you will spread your bhakti. Looking at the Yādavas, he made them favor his suggestion. Bandhāt is sometimes seen instead of baddhān. This is proper for you who have appeared on earth (govinda) to reveal yourself as Bhagavān. Or just as you showed great powers in Gokula as its king, so now you will show such fame.
One move that gains the Pāṇḍavas a sacrifice, frees the kings, and crowns Kṛṣṇa with yaśas is like a single offered lamp that lights three rooms — the same flame is honoured wherever it falls.
