  • acyutaḥ — the infallible, Kṛṣṇa
Name of Kṛṣṇa: a- (not) + cyuta (fallen). 'He who never falls from His position.' Gauḍīyas glos it as Bhagavān's permanence — He cannot fall from svarūpa, dharma, or vow. The citizens' use of this name is theologically loaded: only the unfallen one can be a true pati.
  • su - caritam — pious work
Compound: su (well) + carita (deeds). The citizens are willing to liquidate their accumulated puṇya for this one outcome. Gauḍīyas read this as a folk-form of the proper bhakti-attitude: every karma's true purpose is the satisfaction of Kṛṣṇa.
  • tri - loka - kṛt — the creator of the three worlds
Compound: tri (three) + loka (world) + kṛt (maker). The Creator is identified with Kṛṣṇa-as-Acyuta. The Gauḍīya siddhānta is here in the citizens' mouths: the supreme creator and the bridegroom of Rukmiṇī are one Person.
May Acyuta, the creator of the three worlds, be satisfied with whatever pious work we may have done and show His mercy by taking the hand of Vaidarbhī.

The devoted citizens of Vidarbha lovingly offered their entire stock of pious credit to Princess Rukmiṇī. They were very eager to see her marry Lord Kṛṣṇa.

Translation
May Acyuta, the creator of the three worlds, be satisfied with whatever pious work we may have done and show His mercy by taking the hand of Vaidarbhī.
Commentary

Krsna is satisfied with whatever pious acts we have done. We have given these pious acts to her account so she can marry Krsna.

Jīva Gosvāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

May the creator of the three worlds, he who can do anything, and who is merciful by creating the words so that we can live, be satisfied with whatever pious acts we have done in previous lives. He is fixed in beauty and qualities (acyutaḥ). They use the word vaidarbhyāḥ (she who is from Vidarbha) to indicate that they as residents of Vidarbha have a relationship with her. Because their hearts are overcome with the sweetness of Kṛṣṇa’s human pastimes, they use differing words to describe him (tri-loka-kṛt and acyutaḥ). They also indicate his extraordinary nature.

Related verses

Ordinary people of the city push their accumulated puṇya onto the scales and beg one outcome: let Acyuta take her hand. They use their merit not for heaven but for a marriage — a tiny anticipation of bhakti's logic, where every other good is spent for kṛṣṇa-prema.
