Translation
When Rohita heard that his father had been attacked by Varuṇa and that his abdomen had grown very large, he wanted to return to the capital, but Indra forbade him to do so.
Personal Guidance
Hearing of his father's illness, Rohita wants to return, but Indra forbids him. Sometimes our impulse to go back and fix things is overridden by a higher arrangement that needs us to keep moving forward.
Reflection Questions
- What guilt-driven impulse to 'go back and fix it' might actually be against the Lord's plan?
- Where am I confusing emotional rescue with spiritual responsibility?
