Although the Aśvinī-kumāras were only physicians and were therefore excluded from drinking soma-rasa in sacrifices, the demigods agreed to allow them henceforward to drink it.

Translation
Although the Aśvinī-kumāras were only physicians and were previously excluded from drinking soma-rasa in sacrifices, the devatās allowed them henceforward to drink it.
Personal Guidance
The demigods relent and welcome the Aśvins to share soma henceforward. Even heavenly customs evolve when a saintly voice persists in opening doors.
Reflection Questions
- What outdated exclusion in my community am I positioned to challenge?
- Where could persistent saintly pressure rewrite a long-standing rule for the better?
