Thereafter, being enlivened because of drinking the nectar, the demigods, who are always at the shelter of the lotus feet of Nārāyaṇa, used their various weapons to counterattack the demons in a fighting spirit.

Translation
Thereafter, the devatās, who were under the shelter of Nārāyaṇa’s feet and were strengthened by drinking the nectar, counterattacked the demons with their weapons.
Personal Guidance
Enlivened by nectar, the demigods — always sheltered at Nārāyaṇa's feet — counterattacked in fighting spirit. Real spiritual food makes us active, not passive. Bhakti does not produce limp inaction; it produces willingness to engage rightly.
Reflection Questions
- Has my recent spiritual nourishment energized me to act, or made me only contemplative?
- What battle am I avoiding that nectar — proper sādhana — would prepare me to enter?
