  • suptam — asleep
Past participle of √svap. The Lord's permitting Himself to be moved while asleep is a sign — like Kṛṣṇa permitting Yaśodā to bind Him — that aiśvarya recedes for the sake of līlā. Gauḍīyas read both as 'consent-to-be-carried.'
  • paryaṅke — on a (fine) bed
Locative of paryaṅka. The royal bed of Dvārakā. The contrast is deliberate: He is taken from luxury into Bāṇa's fortress, the way every Kṛṣṇa-līlā moves the Lord from comfort into the place where He is needed.
  • yogam āsthitā — using mystic power
Phrase: yogam (yoga) + āsthitā (having taken up). Citralekhā again — yoga as a service-instrument. Gauḍīyas read this as the right ordering: yoga subordinated to a līlā-purpose, not pursued for its own glamour.
  • priyam — her beloved
Accusative of priya. Citralekhā does not present Aniruddha to Ūṣā as 'the Yadu prince' or 'Kṛṣṇa's grandson' — she presents Him as priyam. Love's vocabulary, not lineage's, is the right one for the heart.
There she found Pradyumna’s son Aniruddha sleeping upon a fine bed. With her yogic power she took Him away to Śoṇitapura, where she presented her girlfriend Ūṣā with her beloved.

Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī comments as follows on this verse: “It is stated here that Citralekhā resorted to mystic power ( yogam āsthitā ). As explained in the Hari-vaṁśa and other literatures, she needed to employ her powers because when she arrived at Dvārakā she found herself unable to enter Lord Kṛṣṇa’s city. At that time Śrī Nārada Muni instructed her in the mystic art of entering. Some authorities also say that Citralekhā is herself an expansion of Yoga-māyā.”

Translation
There she found Pradyumna's son Aniruddha sleeping upon a fine bed. With her yogic power she took Him away to Śoṇitapura, where she presented her girlfriend Ūṣā with her beloved.
Commentary

When she found it impossible to enter Dvaraka, Narada taught her some special powers (yogam asrita), according to the Hari Vamsa. Some say that Citralekah herself was an expansion of Yogamaya. Having returned to Sonitapura, she showed Aniruddha to Usa.

Jīva Gosvāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

Citralekhā showed her friend her lover.

Citralekhā found Aniruddha asleep and carried Him by yogic power to Ūṣā in Śoṇitapura. The Lord's pastimes use the willingness of skilled helpers to accomplish what looks impossible from outside.
Reflection Questions
  • Where in my life am I being used by a divine plan I cannot fully see?
  • How can I cultivate the skill and surrender to be useful when the Lord's pastime needs a willing hand?

Like a mother who lifts a sleeping child without waking him and carries him to where he needs to be, Citralekhā lifts Aniruddha from His Dvārakā bed and sets Him down in Śoṇitapura. He sleeps through the journey — even Bhagavān's vyūha consents to be carried in His own līlā.
