Personal Guidance
Sagara grieves his son even after recognizing his abominable acts. A parent's love does not cleanly disappear with disappointment, and grief and disapproval can coexist for a long time.
Reflection Questions
- Where am I trying to choose between disappointment and love when both must be carried?
- How can I honor the complexity of my feelings about someone who has hurt me?
