As soon as Kuntī called for the demigod of the sun, he immediately appeared before her, and she was very much surprised. She told the sun-god, “I was simply examining the effectiveness of this mystic power. I am sorry I have called you unnecessarily. Please return and excuse me.”

Translation
Seeing the sun-god appear, in astonishment she said, "I was simply examining the effectiveness of this power. Please go away and excuse me."
Devam means the sun-god. “I have used this power to test it. Please forgive me. I am just a girl. You have no use for me. Please go.”
Personal Guidance
Sūrya arrives and Pṛthā tries to send him back. The cosmic order does not have an 'undo' button — once a demigod has been called, the meeting cannot be unfruitful.
Reflection Questions
- Where am I asking the universe to 'undo' an invocation I made carelessly?
- What new responsibility am I called to accept because of an old action I cannot reverse?
