Personal Guidance
The line Kunti, Vṛṣṇi, Nirvṛti, Daśārha, Vyoma, Jīmūta, Vikṛti, Bhīmaratha, Navaratha, Daśaratha — long and steady. Bhāgavatam's patience with detail is itself an antidote to our hunger for spectacle.
Reflection Questions
- Where is my hunger for spectacle blocking my attention to faithful detail?
- What could shift if I read a name list as a kind of meditation?
