Translation
The son of Uśanā was Rucaka, who had five sons—Purujit, Rukma, Rukmeṣu, Pṛthu and Jyāmagha.
Uśanā's son Rucaka has five sons — Purujit, Rukma, Rukmeṣu, Pṛthu, Jyāmagha. The Bhāgavatam slows down at Jyāmagha because something teachable is about to happen.
Reflection Questions
  • Where in my reading do I notice the text 'slowing down' and miss the cue?
  • Could I pause more deliberately when a name is being introduced for the next story?
