Translation
After the great saint Viśravā, the master of mystic yoga, received absolute knowledge from his father, he begot in the womb of Ilavilā the greatly celebrated son known as Kuvera, the giver of money.
Receiving (prādāya) the highest knowledge from his father, he begot Kuvera in Ilavilā.
Personal Guidance
Viśravā receives full knowledge from his father, then begets Kuvera through Ilavilā. Receiving truly first, then producing — the right order yields a son who becomes giver of wealth.
Reflection Questions
- Am I trying to produce results before I have fully received from my own teachers?
- Where would slowing down to be properly taught now make later creation richer?
