Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: O King, subduer of your enemies, now hear from me in great detail about the dynasty of Manu. I shall explain as much as possible, although one could not say everything about it, even in hundreds of years.

Translation
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: O King, subduer of your enemies! Hear from me in detail about the dynasty of Manu. It is not possible to speak everything, even in hundreds of years.
Personal Guidance
Śukadeva admits even centuries cannot exhaust the dynasty's glories. The honest teacher acknowledges limits; the honest student stops expecting completion in a sitting.
Reflection Questions
- Where am I demanding a complete answer when the subject deserves a lifetime of inquiry?
- How would my hearing change if I assumed I will return to this verse for years?
