तस्मै कामवरं तुष्टो भगवान् हरिरीश्वर: ।
ददाविलाभवत् तेन सुद्युम्न: पुरुषर्षभ: ॥ २२ ॥

Translation
The Supreme Lord, the supreme controller, being pleased with Vasiṣṭha, gave him the benediction he desired. Thus Ilā was transformed into a best of men, named Sudyumna.
Personal Guidance
Pleased with Vasiṣṭha's prayer, the Lord grants the benediction and Ilā becomes Sudyumna. The Supreme is moved not by ritual scale but by the devotee's sincerity.
