Translation
The brother of Tāmasa Manu was the fifth Manu, named Raivata. His sons were headed by Arjuna, Bali and Vindhya.
Raivata, brother of Tāmasa, becomes the fifth Manu with sons including Arjuna and Bali. The cosmic chain of administrators continues without interruption. Behind history's apparent randomness lies a careful succession arranged by the Lord, of which we are one tiny generation.
Reflection Questions
  • How does belonging to a long lineage of administrators make my own small role feel different?
  • Whom am I being asked to administer or guide in my own little corner of this lineage?
