One who narrates this description of the Matsya incarnation and King Satyavrata will certainly have all his ambitions fulfilled, and he will undoubtedly return home, back to Godhead.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
One who daily narrates this description of the Matsya incarnation will certainly have all his ambitions fulfilled and he will go to Vaikuṇṭha.
One who narrates this Matsya story will have all ambitions fulfilled and undoubtedly return home, back to Godhead. Telling the story, not just hearing, has its own potency. We are made narrators by the practice.
Reflection Questions
  • When did I last narrate a divine story to someone — and what did it do in me?
  • Where could I become more of a narrator and less of just a hearer?
