After hearing these sweet words from the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the form of a fish, the King, being bewildered, asked Him: Who are You, sir? You simply bewilder us.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
Captivated by the fish that spoke these sweet words, the King asked: Who are you, bewildering me in the form of a fish?
Bewildered by the sweet words, the King asked: Who are You? You simply bewilder us. The right question finally arrives. Some encounters cannot be diagnosed; they must be inquired into directly.
Reflection Questions
  • Where do I keep trying to manage what I have not yet asked 'Who are You?' about?
  • What in my life would change if I posed Satyavrata's question to the bewildering presence?
