O Daityas, by human efforts no one can supersede the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who can bring happiness and distress to all living entities.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
O demons! By human efforts it is not possible to overcome that which has the power to create the happiness and distress of all living beings.
By human efforts no one can supersede the Lord, who awards happiness and distress. The premise of demonic strategy collapses against this fact. No human plan beats the Supreme.
Reflection Questions
  • Where am I planning as if my effort could supersede the Lord's allotment?
  • What recent strategy assumed my human capacity exceeds His arrangement?
