Translation
While wandering in the forest, the hunter saw a pair of kuliṅga birds. Of the two, the female was lured by the hunter.
Of two kuliṅga birds, the female is captivated by the hunter's lure. One partner is often the first drawn into a snare. The danger to a couple usually enters through one heart first.
Reflection Questions
  • Where is one partner — in your home or community — being lured while the other has not yet noticed?
  • How honest can you and your closest people be about lures that have caught only one of you?
