All of you are my superiors. Therefore although accepting priesthood is sometimes reproachable, I cannot refuse even a small request from you. I agree to be your priest. I shall fulfill your request by dedicating my life and possessions.

Translation
However, I shall not refuse a small request made by my elders. I shall accomplish all that you desire by my life and possessions.
I will not refuse such a small request. But even a large request I shall grant.

Personal Guidance
All of you are my superiors — though priesthood is sometimes blamed, I will dedicate my life and possessions to your service. The right relationship reframes the same act from disqualifying to dignifying.
Reflection Questions
- Where could the same action be ennobled by the right relationship?
- Whom do I rightly call superior in my life today?
