O King, while Bharata Mahārāja was sitting on the bank of that river, a doe, being very thirsty, came there to drink.

Translation
Pepīyamāne means”drinking with great attachment.” Mṛgapateḥ is a lion.
A thirsty being arrives at the river to drink — a small, ordinary scene that becomes the hinge of an entire spiritual life. The smallest moments often turn into the largest pivots; pay attention to what you let into the frame.
Reflection Questions
  • What 'small arrival' in your life right now might become more consequential than it appears?
  • Where do you treat ordinary moments carelessly that may be quietly shaping your destiny?
