furniture.
The bedding in the palace was as white as the foam of milk and was very soft. The bedsteads were made of ivory with embellishments of gold, and the chairs, benches and other sitting places and furniture were made of gold.

Gauḍīya
Translation
In that house there were ivory beds, white like the foam of milk, covered with gold, as well as valuable chairs and golden furniture.
Personal Guidance
Bedding white as milk foam, ivory bedsteads with gold, gilt furniture — material opulence flows to the devotee without his asking. When you stop hankering for material things, they often arrive in abundance precisely because they no longer threaten you.
Reflection Questions
- Where is my insistence on getting something actually blocking its arrival?
- What would I lose if I let material opulence be a side-effect rather than a goal?
