Translation
Vīrabhadra tore off the moustache of Bhṛgu, who was offering oblations with a ladle in his hand, but who had smiled, showing his moustache (after Dakṣa insulted Śiva).
Vīrabhadra tore off Bhṛgu's mustache while he was offering oblations — the mustache he had used to mock Śiva was removed at the fire he had used to curse. Each instrument of offense becomes the site of correction.

  • What instrument of past offense in my life might become the site of my correction?
  • Where have I used a sacred tool against the holy?
