With great respect, the original king, Pṛthu, offered all kinds of rewards to the brāhmaṇas present at the sacrifice. Since all these brāhmaṇas were very much satisfied, they gave their heartfelt blessings to the King.

Translation
O Vidura! The brāhmaṇas, whose blessings come true, and who were satisfied, having been worshipped and given donations with faith, gave blessings to the original King.
Personal Guidance
Pṛthu offered rewards to the brāhmaṇas; satisfied, they blessed him heartily. Pay your team well; the blessings that follow are worth more than the cost.
Reflection Questions
- Whose service to me have I underpaid, materially or emotionally?
- Where could generous reward unlock heartfelt blessing that I haven't yet received?
