Next, a great mountain was visible in the sky, and from all directions hailstones fell, along with lances, clubs, swords, iron bludgeons and great pieces of stone.

Gauḍīya
Translation
Then he saw a mountain in the sky. Maces, swords, iron-spiked clubs and other clubs began to fall from it in all directions along with showers of stones
Sāśma-varṣiṇaḥ means “along with showers of stones.”
Personal Guidance
A mountain appears in the sky, raining hailstones, lances, clubs, swords and bludgeons. Illusion is creative; it can produce a mountain in the air and weapons from nowhere. The right response isn't to engage each missile.
Reflection Questions
- Which illusion in my mind keeps producing new weapons of self-attack?
- Where would noticing 'this is just māyā's display' relieve me?
