When electricity was surcharged in the air and was glanced over by the Supreme, at that time, by a mixture of eternal time and external energy, there occurred the creation of water and taste.

Translation
Light, together with air, under the glance of the Lord, from a mixture of time and a portion of māyā, transformed and produced taste and water. Light produced (ādhatta) water with the quality of taste.
Water and taste arise when the Supreme glances upon electrified air, combined with time and the external energy. Every sip of water, every flavor we enjoy, is the result of the Lord's vision falling on subtle elements. Nothing in nature is self-made.
Reflection Questions
  • How does it shift my eating and drinking to remember each taste is sustained by the Lord's glance?
  • Where in my life do I credit chance or chemistry for what is actually divine arrangement?
