Brahmā, who was empowered by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, thought of generating living entities and begot ten sons for the extension of the generations.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
When Brahmā, who was empowered by the Supreme Lord, meditated on creating progeny, ten sons who were causes of expanding the population appeared.
Empowered by the Supreme, Brahmā mentally begets ten sons for the extension of generations. Mind-born creativity carries the Lord's empowerment. Right thoughts, blessed by the Supreme, give birth to lineages.
Reflection Questions
  • What thoughts of mine, if blessed by the Supreme, could give birth to lasting work?
  • Where am I generating through ego rather than through empowered intention?
