पुराणसंहितामेतामश्रौष्म भवतो वयम् ।
यस्यां खलूत्तम:श्लोको भगवाननुवर्ण्यते ॥ ४ ॥

Translation
I have heard from you this Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, which is the summary of all the Purāṇas and which describes the Supreme Lord along with other themes.
“What did you understand from me by hearing scripture?” The Lord was described along with other subjects which supported the main theme as limbs (anuvarṇyate).
Personal Guidance
Pariksit has now heard the perfect summary of all the Puranas describing Uttamaḥśloka. Receiving Bhagavatam at the right time can complete a life. Even one good hearing, fully received, is enough to reorient everything.
