O great sage, because you are devoted to Lord Adhokṣaja, all your desires will be fulfilled. Until the very end of this creation cycle, you will enjoy pious fame and freedom from old age and death.

Translation
O great sage! Because you are devoted to Viṣṇu, all your desires will be fulfilled. Until the very end of this creation cycle, you will enjoy pure fame and freedom from old age and death.
May all these desires come true, since you are devotee of Viṣṇu.
Personal Guidance
Siva tells Markandeya his desires will be fulfilled — he will enjoy fame and longevity until the end of creation. Devotion does not require renouncing all gifts; some gifts naturally follow.
Reflection Questions
- Where am I rejecting natural fruits of devotion out of misplaced renunciation?
- How can I receive without grasping?
