The land along the Sindhu River, as well as the districts of Candrabhāgā, Kauntī and Kāśmīra, will be ruled by śūdras, fallen brāhmaṇas and meat-eaters. Having given up the path of Vedic civilization, they will have lost all spiritual strength.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
Śudras, fallen brāhmaṇas and mlecchas, devoid of the Vedas, will rule the land along the Sindhu River, as well as the districts of Candrabhāgā, Kauntī and Kāśmīra.
When the path of Vedic civilization is abandoned, spiritual potency drains out — even from those who inherit the forms. The verse points back to the source: conscious connection to dharma, not heritage, carries real brahma-tejas.
Reflection Questions
  • Which inherited spiritual forms am I going through without connecting to their source?
  • What would it take to reignite one of them with conscious meaning?
