Translation
Then will follow seven kings of the Ābhīra race from the city of Avabhṛti, and then ten Gardabhīs. After them, sixteen greedy kings of the Kaṅkas will rule.
Āvabhrtyā means from the city of Avabhṛti.
Personal Guidance
Greedy kings will rule openly in Kali-yuga — greed becomes the public, accepted norm. The reader's protection is to recognize the spell of consumerism for what it is and to practice contentment as a deliberate counter-discipline.
Reflection Questions
- Where has greed quietly become normal in my own life?
- What does practicing contentment actually look like for me today?
