The devotee should more fully establish My Deity by solidly constructing a temple, along with beautiful gardens. These gardens should be set aside to provide flowers for the regular daily worship, special Deity processions and holiday observances.

Wealthy, pious persons should be engaged in constructing temples and gardens for the pleasure of the Deity. The word dṛḍham indicates that the most solid means of construction should be employed.

Translation
One should engage religious, wealthy men who take it as their duty to support daily worship, special occasions and festivals, in building temples and attractive flower gardens for the Lord. If possible these can be done. One should persuade religious persons with money, who think it is their duty to support daily worship, occasions like Jamnāstamī and festivals like the spring celebration, to build temples and gardens.
More fully establish the Deity by constructing a temple with beautiful gardens; gardens supply flowers for daily worship, processions, holidays. Worship has architecture.
Reflection Questions
  • What 'temple and garden' could I build for the Deity in my life — physical, scheduled, devotional?
  • What single garden-plant could begin it?
