  • ātma-ānuśāsanam — instruction in the science of the Self
Compound: ātma + anuśāsana. Same term as in verse 42. Gauḍīyas: the chapter is its own technical name. Where the Gītā is the song-of-the-Lord, this chapter is His instruction-about-the-Self.
  • kāmānām-bharjanam — which burns up the material desires
Phrase: kāmānām (of desires) + bharjana (frying, burning). Powerful image. Gauḍīyas: hari-kathā is a roasting-fire for kāmas; the dry seeds of desire cannot germinate after this fire. Same image as anukrama at SB 1.1.4.
  • dāyāda — O heir (Nārada)
From √dā (to give). An heir is one who receives. Gauḍīyas: Nārada is dāyāda — the heir of Brahmā's instruction. The chapter explicitly names the paramparā as inheritance: a transfer, not a discovery.
  • śraddhayā — with faith
Instrumental of śraddhā. The second occurrence of this word in the chapter (also verse 3). Gauḍīyas: śraddhā is the technical entry into bhakti (CC Madhya 22.62); without it the instruction is just text.
  • kāmam — as you wish
Avyaya — at will, freely. Even after receiving the highest instruction, Nārada wanders kāmam — freely. Gauḍīyas: the liberated devotee acts without compulsion. Free will, properly oriented, is the form of devotion itself.
And as you wander the earth at will, My dear son of Brahmā, you should faithfully meditate on these instructions concerning the science of the Self, which burn up the material desires of all men.

Nārada, the son of Brahmā, heard this account from Śrī Nārāyaṇa Ṛṣi. The epithet brahma-dāyāda also means that Nārada attained Brahman effortlessly, just as if it were his inherited birthright.

Translation
And as you wander the earth at will, My dear son of Brahmā, you should faithfully meditate on these instructions concerning the science of the Self, which burn up the material desires of all men.
Commentary

O son of Brahma, Narada (dayada)! With devotion, taking this supreme teaching which destroys attachment to the world, wander on this earth as you desire.

Jīva Gosvāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

Nārada is shown to be qualified since he is a qualified son of Brahmā (brahma-dāyāda). Holding the teachings about Kṛṣṇa in your heart, wander the earth as you please, in order to remove the desires of men. Instead of bharjanam sometimes varjanam is seen. The meaning is the same. Men’s desires will be destroyed by proving bhakti through hearing.

Śrīdhara Svāmī Gauḍīya
Commentary

O son of Brahmā! As his son, you are as qualified as those sages. Holding these instructions in your heart and mouth, wander the earth at will (kāmam) to burn up the desires of men for material enjoyment. By having them hear this message, destroy their desire by the production of bhakti. The word ca distinguishes Nārada from the other sages.

As you wander the earth, meditate faithfully on these instructions. Devotional travel must carry teaching with it; movement without meditation is mere wandering.
Reflection Questions
  • What teaching am I carrying with me as I move through the day?
  • Where could memorizing one short instruction shape my whole movement?

Nārāyaṇa Ṛṣi gives Nārada the same gift He had received from the Janaloka conversation: an instruction-jewel he is to carry across the earth, faith intact. The instruction is described as that which burns up the desires of men — a torch, not a tract.
