O well-wisher of the whole universe.
Durvāsā Muni, the great mystic, scorched by the heat of the Sudarśana cakra, fell at the lotus feet of Nārāyaṇa. His body trembling, he spoke as follows: O infallible, unlimited Lord, protector of the entire universe, You are the only desirable objective for all devotees. I am a great offender, my Lord. Please give me protection.

Personal Guidance
Scorched, trembling, Durvāsā falls at Nārāyaṇa's feet and asks protection from his own offense. Real surrender often arrives only after every other plan has burnt away.
Reflection Questions
- Do I wait until I am scorched to fall at the Lord's feet, or do I go in advance?
- What offense am I still hiding rather than openly bringing for repair?
