Translation
Through the womb of Rājādhidevī, another sister of Kuntī's, Jayasena begot two sons, named Vinda and Anuvinda. Similarly, the king of the Cedi state married Śrutaśravā. This king's name was Damaghoṣa.
Āvantyau means Vinda and Anuvinda.
Personal Guidance
Jayasena and Rājādhidevī produce Vinda and Anuvinda; Damaghoṣa of Cedi marries Śrutaśravā. Kings of states surrounding Kṛṣṇa's circle are connected by marriage — and some will side against Him at Kurukṣetra.
Reflection Questions
- Whose marital alliance in my circle could one day align them against the very devotee they once toasted?
- Where am I assuming permanent alignment without recognizing how marriages reroute loyalties?
