Kukura, Bhajamāna, Śuci and Kambalabarhiṣa were the four sons of Andhaka. The son of Kukura was Vahni, and his son was Vilomā.
Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura Gauḍīya
Translation
Kukura, Bhajamāna, Śuci and Kambalabarhiṣa were four other sons of Vṛṣṇi, son of Anamitra. The son of Kukura was Vahni, and his son was Vilomā. Kukura and others were sons of the Vṛṣni mentioned in verse 14. However in Viṣṇu Purāna these four are said to be sons of Andhaka.
Andhaka's sons Kukura, Bhajamāna, Śuci, Kambalabarhiṣa; through Kukura come Vahni and Vilomā. The Yadu-Andhaka-Vṛṣṇi web becomes denser as we approach Kṛṣṇa's immediate generation.
Reflection Questions
  • Where in my own community is the network becoming denser toward something significant?
  • Could I take a fresh map of my circle and notice the convergences I had missed?
