Urvaśī’s body was as fragrant as the saffron of a lotus. Being enlivened by the fragrance of her face and body, Purūravā enjoyed her company for many days with great jubilation.

Translation
Enraptured by the fragrance of her face, Purūravā enjoyed with Urvaśī, who had the fragrance of lotus pollen, for many days.
Personal Guidance
Urvaśī's body is fragrant as lotus saffron — Purūravā is enlivened for many days. Beauty alone can sustain a relationship for a long time, but never indefinitely — the body's freshness is not the foundation.
Reflection Questions
- What in my relationship would still be there if the body's freshness faded tomorrow?
- Where am I confusing sensual delight with genuine union?
